Mercedes Mone has won the 2025 Women's Owen Hart Cup, after defeating Jamie Hayter in the tournament final at AEW Double or Nothing on Sunday night in Glendale, AZ.

Late in the match, Hayter managed to break out of the Statement Maker, eventually hitting a Hayterade for two. Moments later, when Hayter attempted another Hayterade, Mone countered by snaring Hayter into a hammerlock, DDTing her, and rolling her over into an inside cradle for the win.

Mone will challenge either Toni Storm or Mina Shirakawa for the women's World title at AEW All In on Saturday, July 12 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX. Mone (who arrived in AEW in March of 2024) has never before challenged for the title. She's held the TBS Women's championship since May 26, 2024.

Mone defeated Julia Hart and Athena en route to the finals. Hayter defeated Billie Starkz and Kris Statlander.

The list of prior Women's Owen Hart Cup winners includes Britt Baker (2022), Willow Nightingale (2023), and Mariah May (2024).
