Michael Cole will be sporting a more casual look on a future edition of Monday Night Raw.

Cole is the lead announcer on Raw alongside colour commentator Pat McAfee. The two friends made a wager a few weeks ago over the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks, with Cole agreeing to present Raw in a tank top if the Pacers won, while McAfee agreed to call Raw in a full suit if the Knicks won.

The Indiana Pacers ultimately defeated the New York Knicks to win the series in game six on Saturday night and Cole will be required to wear a tank top on Monday Night Raw as a result of losing the wager.

Michael Cole will remain the lead announcer on WWE programming for the foreseeable future, having announced earlier this year that he had signed a new eight-year deal with the company. The 56-year-old explained why he put pen to paper on a new deal:

"The paycheque is part of it but the new regime had a lot to do with it. When I went to sign the new deal, I sat down with my wife and I'm 58 years old now and I'm like, 'They want to get me to retirement age'. And this is because we had talked about me getting out of this for a long while now just because of the travel and everything else. And she was like, 'You got to do it. This is your legacy. Like, you're going to be miserable if you don't finish this up the way you want to finish it up'. And she was great about it. So, she was one hundred per cent on board with it and so I'm here for a while."
