We all know that ‘anything can happen in WWE’, but could a LayCool reunion be on the table?

The team of Layla and Michelle McCool were one of the most dominant forces during the ‘Divas Division’ era of WWE, with the two literally splitting the Women’s Championship in two and reigning as co-champions.

Layla recently stated she would like to reunite with her former BFF for the first time in many years, with McCool taking to X to say a LayCool reunion would be ‘music to my ears’.

McCool retired from full-time competition in 2011 but has made several appearances for WWE since, most notably dominating the inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018. Layla meanwhile hasn’t wrestled since July 2015, with her last TV match a tag team loss with Emma against Naomi and Tamina on an episode of Superstars.

The inaugural Divas Champion held the title on two occasions, and is also recognised as the final holder of the classic WWE Women’s Championship. Despite this, McCool’s husband The Undertaker thinks his wife’s run is under-appreciated, and has lobbied for McCool to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
