Minoru Suzuki Wins ROH World TV Title At Supercard Of Honor 2022
Minoru Suzuki is your new ROH World TV Champion after defeating Rhett Titus at Supercard of Honor
Apr 2, 2022
Ring of Honor has been put on notice as ‘The King’ Minoru Suzuki has won the ROH TV Championship.
Suzuki defeated long serving ROH star Rhett Titus for the title, a win that marks Suzuki’s first championship victory for a major US promotion.
Titus gave it his all, nailing Suzuki with several beautiful suplexes and the patented KO dropkick, but Suzuki is a different beast, choking The Foundation member and sinking the Gotch Style Piledriver for the win and the gold.
This was Suzuki’s third attempt at a title in ROH, coming up short in a ROH World Title bout with Cody at Death Before Dishonor 2017, and losing to Bullet Club with The Beer City Bruiser and Silas Young in a ROH World Six-Man Tag Championship match in October 2017.
It ended up being a very good weekend for ‘Murder Grandpa’ with his TV Title win coming one day after a win over Biff Busick at the WrestleCon Mark Hitchock Memorial Supershow.
