MJF Shows Off Nasty Injury Following AEW Revolution

MJF dealing with a haematoma following AEW Revolution

Maxwell Jacob Friedman is dealing with an issue following the Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday, March 5.

A large lump on Friedman's forehead was visible during the closing stages of MJF's 60-minute Iron Man Match for the AEW World Title with Bryan Danielson in the main event of Revolution. That lump was ultimately a haematoma - a solid swelling of clotted blood within the tissues - that has since moved to sit beneath Friedman's left eye, as can be seen in the photo above.

"The blood in the hematoma (devil horn) on my forehead has now pooled down into my eye. Still the champ though and the rats don't seem to mind," Friedman tweeted, while also giving fans the middle finger.

Friedman ended up retaining the AEW World Championship at Revolution, forcing Danielson to tap out to his own LeBell Lock submission after the main event went to sudden death. The feud doesn't look set to continue as Danielson stated following the pay-per-view that it was time for him to go home
