MJF Vs. Wardlow Set For AEW Double Or Nothing

MJF and Wardlow will finally clash at Double or Nothing

We all knew it would come down to this, but it’s now been made official; MJF vs. Wardlow at AEW: Double or Nothing on May 29.

The two have been at odds after Wardlow cost MJF his dog collar match with CM Punk at AEW Revolution 2022, and as seen on the May 11 edition AEW: Dynamite, the two signed a contract for a singles match at Double or Nothing.

But MJF being MJF he made Wardlow agree to certain conditions before the two tangle, insisting that Wardlow has to take ten lashes and defeat Shawn Spears in a cage - both call-backs to MJF’s feud with Cody Rhodes in 2020 - with MJF serving as the special guest referee for the cage match.

It was decreed that if Wardlow wins at Double or Nothing then he will be free of MJF’s employ, but if he loses, he can never sign an AEW contract.

As is wrestling contract signing tradition, Wardlow agreed to the conditions then proceeded to batter the security in ring, with ‘Smart’ Mark Sterling jumping on the ‘War Dog’ before he could powerbomb MJF.
