Montez Ford Health Issue Reportedly Led To WWE Delaying RK-Bro-Nament Finals

The Street Profits were meant to face The Mysterios

The injury that kept Montez Ford out of action on this week's WWE Monday Night Raw is reportedly legitimate, which is why the Finals of the RK-Bro-Nament were postponed.

As previously noted, WWE announced that the match between The Street Profits and The Mysterios on this week's Raw would be postponed to December 27 due to both teams suffering with injuries.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that, on the Street Profits' side, Ford is dealing with something that is keeping him out of the ring.

Meltzer said: "Something’s up with Ford. I don’t know what it is. They said that both teams were injured. For whatever it is, there’s something with Ford and I don’t know if there’s something with Rey or Dominik.

"For sure there’s something with Ford so they couldn’t do the match. I don’t know if it’s injury, illness, whatever. I’ll probably know tomorrow but legit, they couldn’t do that match."

Ford was also absent from WWE Live Events at the weekend as Angelo Dawkins competed in singles action against AJ Styles. Neither Rey or Dominik Mysterio were in action on the shows either.
