Motor City Machine Guns Sign New Deals With IMPACT Wrestling

Motor City Machine Guns sticking with IMPACT Wrestling

IMPACT Wrestling have revealed that the Motor City Machine Guns have signed new deals with the promotion, with the team of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley pledging their futures to to IMPACT.

The news was revealed by Sports Illustrated, and whilst no terms have been revealed the signing will come as a boon to IMPACT, and Alex Shelley had this to say about their signing:

“We still love pro wrestling. We’re still excited about it, and we love wrestling for IMPACT - and that chance to work with the IMPACT locker room,” said Shelley.

Sabin agreed, adding the following:

“IMPACT is like family to us. [IMPACT President] Scott D’Amore was my trainer. It’s home,” said Sabin.

The Guns are arguably the most celebrated tag team in IMPACT history, and have reigned as IMPACT World Tag Team Champions on three separate occasions with their last reign ending earlier this month at the hands of Bullet Club’s Ace Austin and Chris Bey.

As well as tag gold, between them the guns have also racked up nine X Division Championship wins, and one IMPACT World Championship win, with Sabin winning the big one in 2013.
