Dec 15, 2023
Ring of Honor are set to see out 2023 with a bang tonight, with Final Battle the last major event of the year for the storied indie promotion.
Ahead of the event in Garland, Texas, ROH have announced several new matches for the event, with two titles set to be put on the line on the show.
In the ROH Pure division, record-setting three-time Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta is set to put the gold on the line against "Filthy" Tom Lawlor, with the match serving as Lawlor’s ROH debut. "Filthy" has wrestled previously in an All Elite Wrestling ring, defeating Serpentico in a dark match before Forbidden Door 2023.
The ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championships will also be on the line, with The Mogul Embassy team of Brian Cage, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun set to face TMDK’s Shane Haste, Bad Dude Tito, and Kosei Fujita. TMDK last appeared in ROH in September 2023, with the team of Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste defeating The Infantry on ROH TV.
Also announced for Final Battle, The Von Erichs will make their ROH debut, with the team of Marshall and Ross Von Erich set to take on the ‘youngest men alive’ The Outrunners on the Zero Hour pre-show.
