Mysterio Family Segment Set For WWE SmackDown

The Mysterio family will be present on the March 24 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

It was announced on Monday's edition of Raw that along with Rey and Dominik, Angie and Aalyah Mysterio will be live on SmackDown in Las Vegas. The announcement came about after Dominik defeated Johnny Gargano on Raw. In a post-match promo, Dominik mentioned that he will earn a match with his father by asking for his mother's permission to fight him. 

Dominik and Rey have been at odds with each other since the younger Mysterio turned on his father at Clash at the Castle in September 2022. Dominik has consistently campaigned for a match with Rey since then but the former World Heavyweight Champion has repeatedly refused to fight his son, even moving to SmackDown to get away from the situation.

That hasn't stopped Dominik and he has attempted to ruin several holidays for the Mysterio family. Dominik has also repeatedly goaded his father into hitting him over the past several weeks, with the segments always ending with Rey heading to the back as he refuses to strike his son. 

Rey Mysterio will be in action on SmackDown this week when he goes one-on-one with LA Knight. Cody Rhodes, meanwhile, will face Ludwig Kaiser.
