Name Of Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley & William Regal's Faction Revealed
Danielson, Moxley, and Regal’s AEW faction has unveiled its name
Since William Regal arrived in AEW at Revolution 2022, he has overseen a tour of campaign from Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley, hoping to entice the younger generation in AEW to step up and be taken under their wing.
On the the March 16 edition of Dynamite Regal sent a message to the first prospect who stepped up, when he slapped Wheeler Yuta across the face, and now Moxley has spelled out the aims of the group, calling them the Blackpool Combat Club:
"If you want a badge of honour from the Blackpool Combat Club, there's only one way to get it - the hard way,” spouted Moxley after he and Danielson ploughed through The Varsity Blonds on the March 23 Dynamite.
While it may have seemed a throwaway line, the official AEW Twitter account ran with the name, incorrectly spelling it as the ‘Black Pool Combat Club’. The name is a reference to Blackpool, England, a North-West resort town where Regal made his name in the 1980s.
