WWE WrestleMania may end up heading to Nashville in 2028, with it being reported that the city has bid to host WrestleMania 44.
Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer has reported that Nashville has bid $3.5 million plus tax breaks to hold WrestleMania 44 in 2028. The Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp has told The Tennessean they are working with WWE to bring a future edition of WrestleMania to Nashville. The plan would be for the show to take place at the new Tennessee Titans stadium which is due to be completed in February 2027.
WWE and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp previously had a verbal agreement for WrestleMania 43 to be held at the new Titans stadium if the venue was constructed in time. That date didn't work out, though, and WWE will be holding WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia instead.

POST Wrestling has reported that WWE President Nick Khan teased the announcement of WrestleMania 44 at a town hall meeting on Monday, April 27, saying, "Wait until you hear the announcement on where we're going to be for WrestleMania in 2028."
WrestleMania 42 was the first edition of WrestleMania to take place at the same venue for two years in a row since WrestleMania IV and V, with both WrestleMania 41 and WrestleMania 42 emanating from Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium. Khan noted at the town hall meeting that "maybe" the company won't run WrestleMania in the same city back-to-back in the future.
