WWE held a live event in Sacramento, CA over the weekend, featuring a SmackDown Women’s Championship Triple Threat match between Champion Liv Morgan, Natalya, and Ronda Rousey.

Liv Morgan got the win, pinning Natalya after hitting her finisher, but interestingly as soon as the pinfall was counted Natalya popped up, and seemed to angrily point at Morgan and say something, before exiting the ring and heading to the back.

There’s no word on what was said between the two, with Natalya tweeting and subsequently deleting the following:

"I’m breaking character right now, but I actually said THANKYOU. If you must know."

Wrestlers are passionate performers, and many leave it all in the ring. Chances are this was a minor inconvenience and everything was sorted out backstage after the match. It’s also worth noting that this happened at a non-televised live event. When wrestlers have let their frustrations boil over on TV or PPV it’s a different story altogether, such as Austin Aries memorably no-selling John Morrison at the conclusion IMPACT Bound For Glory 2018’s main event.

Footage of Natalya and Liv’s incident can be seen here, thanks to Matt Kempke on YouTube.
