New Championship Match Added To AEW Double Or Nothing

AEW have announced a championship open challenge for Double or Nothing

The Double or Nothing 2023 event is just a day away, but AEW are still announcing new matches for the card. On last night’s episode of Rampage, yet another championship match was made official for the show.

It was revealed that the AEW World Trios Champions, The House Of Black, would be defending their gold at Double or Nothing in an open challenge contested under House Rules.

It is expected that The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn will step up to answer this open challenge, particularly after Anthony Bowens took to the mic following their victory on Rampage, stating that they had gone through several trios in AEW and are looking towards Sunday to do some gambling in Vegas, with this assumedly meaning the World Trios Titles.

Another amendment was made to the Double or Nothing card on Rampage too, as Hook stepped in to replace the injured Isiah Kassidy ahead of their trios match at the PPV.

The card for Double or Nothing 2023 is looking like this;

  • MJF (c) vs. Darby Allin vs. Jungle Boy vs. Sammy Guevara - ‘Four Pillars’ AEW World Championship
  • The Elite vs. Blackpool Combat Club - Anarchy In The Arena
  • Jamie Hayter (c) vs. Toni Storm - AEW Women’s World Championship
  • Adam Cole vs. Chris Jericho - Unsanctioned
  • FTR (c) vs. Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal - AEW World Tag Team Championships
  • 21-Man Blackjack Battle Royal - AEW International Championship
  • Wardlow (c) vs. Christian Cage - AEW TNT Championship Ladder Match
  • Jade Cargill (c) vs. Taya Valkyrie - AEW TBS Championship
  • House Of Black (c) vs. TBA - AEW Trios World Championship House Rules Match
  • Buy In: The Hardy Boyz & Hook vs. Ethan Page & The Gunns - Ethan Page’s Contract On The Line
