Slammiversary is gearing up to be the biggest show of TNA’s year thus far, and the promotion has added another match to the card.
On the Slammiversary go-home edition of TNA IMPACT, a clash pitting TNA vs. NXT was confirmed for the show, with The System team of JDC, Eddie Edwards, and Brian Myers teaming with Matt Cardona to take on DarkState’s Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and Osiris Griffin in eight-man tag action.
DarkState have been running roughshod over NXT and TNA in recent weeks, with the mysterious crew beating Cardona down on IMPACT. After The System made the save a match was green-lit for Slammiversary pitting the two sides against one another.
Elsewhere, TNA icon AJ Styles is primed to make his return to the promotion after 11 long years, whilst Real1 (Enzo Amore) is set to invade from Fourth Rope, with Zilla Fatu and potentially Bishop Dyer at his side.
