New Match Set For WWE WrestleMania Backlash

A new match on the WrestleMania Backlash card

A new match was set for the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view on Monday's episode of Raw.

WWE booked an Arm Wrestling Challenge between Bobby Lashley and Omos on the show and after a long battle of strength, the two-time WWE Champion slammed Omos' hand on the table, winning the challenge.

Immediately after Lashley's win, though, MVP teased hitting The All Mighty with a cane which provided the opening for Omos to deck Lashley from behind. The former basketball player then attacked Big Bobby with the arm wrestling table, leaving Lashley on the mat to end the segment.

MVP later announced backstage that Omos was challenging Lashley to a match at WrestleMania Backlash and the bout was made official for the May 8 pay-per-view soon after.

Lashley and Omos have been involved in a storyline since The All Mighty returned from injury on the go-home edition of Raw before WrestleMania 38. Lashley then defeated Omos at The Showcase Of The Immortals but MVP turned on Bobby the next night on Raw.
