All Elite Wrestling are a little over a week away from their Oceania debut, with Grand Slam Australia set for February 15.

On the February 5 edition of AEW Dynamite, two new matches were made official for the show, with two of the continent's finest set for action.

As the Death Riders have found themselves facing more opposition, they engaged in a wild brawl with Cope, FTR, and New Zealand’s Jay White on Dynamite. ‘Switchblade’ ended up grabbing a mic and suggesting he and Cope team up to take on Death Riders Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli at Grand Slam in a ‘Brisbane Brawl’, with Mox accepting the challenge.

Free from the shackles of the House of Black, ‘Hound of Hell’ Buddy Matthews has been hounding Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada for a title match for several weeks, with Okada finally caving and granting Buddy a title shot. Matthews is a native of Melbourne, Australia.

Announced card - AEW Grand Slam Australia, February 15, 2025:

  • Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher
  • Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Buddy Matthews - AEW Continental Championship
  • Mariah May (c) vs. Toni Storm - AEW Women’s World Championship
  • Jay White & Cope vs. Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli - Brisbane Brawl
