New ROH Tag Team Champions Crowned On AEW Dynamite

The Devil's Masked Men are the new ROH Tag Champs

MJF has finally lost the ROH World Tag Team Championships. Back at the All In PPV event in August, the duo of MJF and Adam Cole won the gold from Aussie Open, starting their reign. However, Cole’s ill-timed injury led to MJF having to defend the belts either by himself, or by enlisting the help of his rival Samoa Joe.

Last night on AEW Dynamite, Joe was “taken out” backstage, leading to MJF having to go it alone against a pair of “The Devil’s masked men”. Due to the numbers advantage, interference, and cheating, the masked men got the job done and dethroned MJF to become the new ROH World Tag Team Champions.

This ends MJF’s reign with the belts at 123 days. MJF had previously promised his partner Adam Cole that he would keep the titles until Cole was back and healthy, but he has been unable to fulfill that promise. Fighting on multiple fronts and defending different belts, it all became too much for MJF. To make matters worse, Joe was revealed to be working with The Devil, so he hadn’t actually been attacked at all.
