New Team Added To WWE Women's Tag Team Title Match At WrestleMania 38

A new team at WrestleMania 38

Two former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions will join forces at WrestleMania 38 as they look to recapture the title.

Already set for the Women's Tag Team Title match at The Show Of Shows were champions Queen Zelina and Carmella, Sasha Banks and Naomi, and Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, but the match was changed to a Fatal 4-Way on Friday's episode of SmackDown.

Challengers Sasha Banks and Naomi, and Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan faced off on Friday's show but their match ended in a no-contest after Shayna Baszler and Natalya laid out all four competitors. The new tag team then had a staredown with Queen Zelina and Carmella, who were sat at ringside.

Later in the show, WWE Official Sonya Deville congratulated Natalya and Baszler and revealed they would be added to the Women's Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania. The match is already set for WrestleMania Sunday.

Shayna Baszler is a two-time Women's Tag Team Champion, having previously held the gold with Nia Jax. Natalya, meanwhile, has had one reign with the gold with Tamina.
