New WWE Raw Talent Removed From Active Roster

Raw talent off WWE active roster

A wrestler who has only been a part of Monday Night Raw for a few months won't be on TV for a while.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that Kiana James has been removed from the active WWE roster and moved to the miscellaneous section of the WWE internal roster. James is dealing with a leg injury and the issue is expected to keep her on the shelf for up to six months.

Kiana James was called up to Monday Night Raw as part of the 2024 WWE Draft in April along with the likes of Ilja Dragunov, Lyra Valkyria, and Dijak. James has hardly been booked on the main roster since her call-up, however. She secured two wins on Main Event in May and a victory over Natalya on the June 3 episode of Monday Night Raw. James then lost a Money in the Bank Triple Threat qualifier on June 17 and she hasn't wrestled since.

Kiana James made her WWE debut in February 2022 as part of NXT and had one reign with the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships with Fallon Henley. James' call-up to Raw came about as she was considered one of the best in-ring talents on the NXT roster.
