Next Week's AEW Rampage To Air On Saturday Night

AEW Rampage set to move to Saturday night for April 22 edition

All Elite Wrestling Rampage will be moved to Saturday night for the April 22 edition, with AEW’s second show being affected by several sporting events.

As reported by Wrestling Observer Online’s Dave Meltzer, next week’s edition of Rampage will air on Saturday April 22 at 10PM E.T. due to the NHL Playoffs airing on TNT. Furthermore, Meltzer suggested that this week’s Rampage on April 14 could be bumped due to the NBA Playoffs, but could be boosted by a strong lead-in from the basketball coverage.

Rampage has been moved in TNT’s schedules on several occasions due to sports coverage, with Rampage moved twice in March due to ongoing coverage of NCAA men’s basketball, and the US men’s soccer team.

It remains to be seen how this will affect AEW’s taping schedule, with recent editions of Dynamite featuring Ring of Honor and Rampage tapings, whilst the April 7 edition aired live ahead of Battle of the Belts VII.

AEW Rampage debuted in August 2021, and throughout its run has featured such monumental AEW moments as Christian Cage defeating Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Championship, and the return of CM Punk.
