Nia Jax Responds To Recent Absence Reports

Nia Jax has been absent from WWE programming in recent weeks, missing out on much of the build to WrestleMania 41, when the promotion heads to Las Vegas, Nevada. The former WWE Women’s World Champion dropped the gold earlier this year to a Money In The Bank cash-in at the hands of Tiffany Stratton, though she continued to make her presence known on SmackDown all the way until the Elimination Chamber PLE, where she and Candice LeRae lost to Stratton and Trish Stratus. Since then, things have been quiet.

Reports emerged via WrestleVotes of Nia Jax not being cleared to compete, despite her being scheduled to be cleared several weeks ago. It was not known why she had not been cleared, and whether or not she was dealing with any sort of injury.

Jax has hit back at these reports on X, replying to a post regarding the report and simply stating “False.” She didn’t reveal any more when it comes to her current WWE absence. There were some expectations that she and LeRae would potentially be involved in the Women’s Tag Team Title picture, but a number one contenders gauntlet was scheduled for next week, with Jax not involved.
