Nick Khan: WWE Is Always Talking To The Rock About Different Opportunities

The Rock has been rumoured for a WrestleMania 38 match

WWE President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan says the promotion are always talking to The Rock in regard to different opportunities to work together.

The Rock last appeared on WWE television in October 2019, at the FOX Sports Premiere of Friday Night SmackDown, but hasn't wrestled a big match since losing to John Cena at WrestleMania 29 in 2013. The Great One did defeat Erick Rowan in a matter of seconds at WrestleMania 32 in 2015.

Reports have persisted for months that The Brahma Bull is set to return to WWE for a WrestleMania 38 main-event match with cousin Roman Reigns next April and Khan says the company are Dwayne Johnson are constantly talking, given WWE are a producer on the Young Rock series.

Speaking in an interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Khan said: "In terms of Dwyane, looks he's focused on being the megastar that he (has) built himself into. We're always talking to him, about different opportunities and what could come.

"WWE is a producer on Young Rock, they graciously allowed us to do that because they wanted us to be partners in it. So there's more to be done with them."
