NJPW, NOAH, & AJPW To Make Joint Announcement

Japan’s three major professional wrestling promotions have been known to work together on occasion, though it hasn’t always been too often. New Japan Pro Wrestling, All-Japan Pro Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling NOAH have all teased that they will be doing something together at some point soon though. 

On Saturday, all three companies sent out the same exact fifteen second video on their social media accounts. In the video, phrases and words such as “restart”, “unite everyone’s power again and again”, and “announcement coming up in 3 days”, came up on the screen. 

Whether this is some sort of long-term working relationship, a major three-way event, or something more, isn’t yet entirely clear. The supposed announcement time is April 12 at 18:00 JST, 05:00 EST, or 10:00 AM BST. 

All three promotions notably worked together back in 2011 and 2012 for the “All Together” events, which came in the aftermath of a 2011 earthquake, in which the proceeds went to the Japanese Red Cross.
