'No Chance At All' Of Triple H Vs. The Rock At Future WWE Event

WWE has no plans to book The Rock and Triple H in a match.

Anyone hoping to see The Rock and Triple H 'run it back' in the ring after their recent on-screen interactions shouldn't get their hopes up.

Despite the two men having a tense confrontation at the WrestleMania XL Kickoff event and 'The Cerebral Assassin' taking some shots at 'The Great One' in his promo on this past Friday's SmackDown, there are no plans to do the match.

Writing on X, SE Scoops writer Aaron Varble noted that he had asked around about the possibility of the match happening at some point down the line. He was told that there was "100%" no chance of it happening at all.

Triple H retired from in-ring competition prior to WrestleMania 38 after suffering a cardiac event in September 2021. The 54-year-old confirmed that he will never wrestle again while announcing his retirement. Due to his health issues, he has an ICD implanted in his chest. 'The Game's last match took place at a non-televised live event in Japan in June 2019.

The Rock and Triple H had one of the most memorable rivalries of the Attitude Era, headlining several pay-per-views in WWE Title matches. It remains to be seen who, if anyone, 'The People's Champion' will square off with at this year's WrestleMania.
