No Ill Will Between AEW & Jade Cargill Following Exit

Relations between Jade Cargill and AEW remain good, despite her likely move to WWE.

There is said to be no ill will between AEW and outgoing star Jade Cargill.

The inaugural TBS Champion held the belt for over 500 days, becoming a standout member of the AEW roster in the process despite a relative lack of wrestling experience.

Now she is widely reported to have left AEW, with her next likely destination being WWE. However, relations between Cargill and AEW remain on good terms, according to a report by Fightful Select which states:

"Those close to Cargill also said that she was treated well by AEW upon leaving, and there doesn’t seem to be ill will. She received a nice ovation backstage and spoke with numerous talent about wrapping up. It was said that it was important to AEW to give her an appropriate sendoff."

Cargill defended the TBS Championship on pay-per-view against the likes of Tay Conti, Athena and Nyla Rose. She also once teamed with NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal in a tag match against Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet.

Earlier this year, Cargill lost the title to Kris Statlander at Double or Nothing, having just successfully defended the belt against Taya Valkyrie. She took a break from in-ring action for a few months, before returning recently to challenge Statlander to a rematch. That bout took place last week on Rampage, with Jade unable to regain the TBS title.
