North American Title Match Set For November 22 Episode of WWE NXT
It is the latest in several big NXT title matches
A North American Title match has been made official for the November 22 edition of NXT.
It was revealed on last night's episode of the show that Wes Lee will put his title on the line against former champion Carmelo Hayes.
Hayes and Trick Williams were hanging out in a barbershop on last night's episode of the show when Hayes spoke about how much he wanted to reclaim the title.
A contract signing for the match will take place on next week's (November 15) episode of NXT.
Hayes lost the title to Solo Sikoa on the September 15 edition of NXT, only for the switch to be invalidated by Shawn Michaels (due to Sikoa not being the original opponent of Hayes).
The title was then put on the line in a five-man ladder match at Halloween Havoc on October 22, with Lee walking away as the winner.
Hayes interfered in Lee's match last week, tripping him up and costing Lee and Bron Breakker the NXT Tag Team Titles (as they lost to Pretty Deadly).
There are several big title matches booked for the next couple of episodes of NXT. Next week, Breakker will defend his NXT Title against Von Wagner, while Mandy Rose will put her NXT Women's Title on the line against Alba Fyre in a Last Woman Standing Match.
