We're stuck at home anyway, so why not?
The In Your House name has been resurrected for NXT's next TakeOver event, which will take place on Sunday, June 7.
The announcement was made by Triple H, a veteran of those early In Your Houses in 1995. He was joined for the announcement by two other regulars from those earlier events in Shawn Michaels and Road Dogg.
The most recent NXT TakeOver took place on Sunday, February 16, in Portland, OR. The event scheduled for WrestleMania weekend was cancelled due to the COVID outbreak.
Thursday, May 14 marks the 25 year anniversary of the first In Your House, which cemented the then-WWF's new direction of monthly pay-per-views. That event was headlined by a World title match pitting Diesel against Psycho Sid.
From 1995 into 1999, the In Your House name subheaded many notable WWE pay-per-views in and around the primary five events. These included 1997's Canadian Stampede, the storm-ravaged Beware of Dog in 1996, and early incarnations of to-be annual events like Unforgiven, Judgment Day, and No Way Out.
