NXT UK Women's Title Match Set For January 6 WWE NXT UK

Blair Davenport has been confirmed as the next challenger for the WWE NXT UK Women's Championship. 

WWE has announced that Meiko Satomura will defend the NXT UK Women's Title against Davenport on Thursday 6 January 2022, the first episode of NXT UK in 2022.

WWE hyped up the bout during this week's episode of NXT UK, airing a video package that showed Davenport saying she conquered Japan while wrestling over in the country. However, a match with Satomura was the one bout she has been chasing, and now she intends to take the Title from her.

Davenport is undefeated since joining NXT UK in July and defeated Satomura's protégé, Emilia McKenzie, in a match last week. Following the bout, she put McKenzie in one of Satomura's signature moves, the STF before declaring that she wanted the Championship match.

Satomura has held the NXT UK Women's Championship since winning it from Kay Lee Ray in June and has successfully defended the Title against Amale, Stevie Turner, Jinny, and Xia Brookside.
