Orange Cassidy To Defend International Title On AEW Dynamite

Orange Cassidy will defend his gold next week

Orange Cassidy has managed to outlast many names throughout his lengthy run as the AEW International Champion, most recently defeating the new AAA Latin America Champion QT Marshall on the most recent edition of Friday Night Rampage. Marshall is added to the long list of challengers which include wrestlers such as RUSH, Rey Fenix, Luchasaurus, Katsuyori Shibata, Zack Sabre Jr, Daniel Garcia, Jeff Jarrett, Big Bill, Wheeler Yuta, Trent Seven, Swerve Strickland, and many more.

On last night’s episode of AEW Collision in which Cassidy teamed up with Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo to defeat Kip Sabian, The Butcher, and The Blade, it was revealed that on next week’s AEW Dynamite, he would once again put the title on the line.

As of now, it was not revealed who would be challenging Cassidy for the title. His next hurdle to overcome before Wednesday is at AEW All In, where he teams up with Kingston, Penta, and Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta) to take on Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta) and the returning Santana and Ortiz, who made their respective AEW comebacks earlier this week.
