Pac Becomes First-Ever AEW All-Atlantic Champion At Forbidden Door

After winning a four way bout

Pac is the first-ever AEW All-Atlantic champion, after winning a four-way match at AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door on Sunday night in Chicago.

Pac defeated Miro, Malakai Black, and Clark Connors (subbing for Tomohiro Ishii) in a very fast-paced match to capture the gold.

Late in the bout, Miro had Pac trapped in his "Game Over" camel clutch, but Black blinded Miro with his mist, before taking him out with Black Mass. Connors then hit the ring, but was taken down by Black in an armbar. A recovered Pac then climbed the ropes and splashed onto Black with a 450, before hooking Connors into the Brutalizer, which drew the submission.

The All-Atlantic championship was introduced on the June 8 episode of Dynamite, with a tournament of sorts being installed to crown the first champion. Pac qualified for the four-way match by defeating House of Black member Buddy Matthews on the June 8 episode of Dynamite.

This marks Pac's first championship in AEW. He previously challenged for the World and Tag Team titles at different points in 2021.
