Pat McAfee Officially Signs Multi-Year Contract With WWE

NXT TakeOver Kickoff Show panel host signs on the bottom line...

Pat McAfee - that intellectually superior being in the jorts on the NXT TakeOver kickoff shows - has revealed that he has now officially signed with WWE.

McAfee made the announcement via his Twitter account earlier today: "Good morning beautiful people.. today's a pretty massive day for me. I can officially say I'm a @WWE employee. A real lifelong dream coming true thanks to Michael Cole and Triple H.. This opportunity means the world to me. Let's. Go."

Pat also tweeted out a video with his announcement, where he shows himself performing on an indy show not long before being drafted to the NFL: “My agent said one thing and one thing alone: Don’t Get In The Ring,” McAfee said during the clip. “What my agent didn’t know and what that creepy dude in the ring didn’t know is that my dream my entire life has been to be in the WWE.

“I was the first punter to start celebrating punts,” he continued. “We probably shouldn’t, we’re turning the ball over but I was excited that I was doing my job well and there’s only one celebration I know, that’s WWE celebrations!”

The video shows Pat celebrating a punt by doing Scott Hall/Razor Ramon's taunt, before he teases the idea of getting back into the ring once again.
