Penta Pulled From AAA Guerra De Titanes Due To Injury

The Lucha Bros reunion has been pushed back indefinitely, with Penta announcing on social media that he would not be able to wrestle at AAA Guerra de Titanes. Rey Mysterio will replace Penta at the AAA event on December 20.

Penta and Rey Fenix were scheduled to team together for the first time since they both signed with WWE against El Grande Americano and Dominik Mysterio at Guerra de Titanes. Penta has been out of action since he sustained a dislocated shoulder on the November 24 episode of WWE Raw during his match with Solo Sikoa after landing hard on the floor following a hurricanrana from the barricade.

Guerra de Titanes will be Rey Mysterio's first match in AAA since WWE acquired the Lucha Libre promotion earlier this year, although he has made several appearances at AAA events.

Other matches already announced for AAA Guerra de Titanes include Dragon Lee vs. El Hijo del Vikingo, Psycho Circus & Pagano vs. The Wyatt Sicks, Laredo Kid vs. Je'Von Evans vs. Jack Cartwheel for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship, and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Ethan Page for the AAA Latin American Title.
