Petey Williams Vs. Steve Maclin Set For IMPACT Wrestling Emergence
Petey will be Maclin’s biggest test since he joined IMPACT
Since arriving in IMPACT Wrestling, Steve Maclin has been an unstoppable force of nature, absolutely dismantling every opponent who has been placed in front of him.
However, at the upcoming IMPACT Emergence special on August 20, Maclin will face his sternest test yet, when he takes on X Division legend Petey Williams.
Maclin has stated that the X Division Title is in his future, and first crossed paths with former champion Williams several weeks ago after Williams saved Trey Miguel from a Maclin beatdown. Since then the two have been going back and forth across IMPACT, attacking one another and furthering their animosity, with Maclin eliminating Maple Leaf Muscle from last night’s IMPACT World Title number one contenders battle royal.
IMPACT have made Maclin vs. Williams official for Emergence - an IMPACT Plus special - with the match being the fourth announced for the show.
