Piper Niven Debuts On WWE Raw Alongside Eva Marie

A new alliance for the Raw brand

Former NXT UK star Piper Niven debuted on WWE Raw on Monday night, as part of an alliance with the returning Eva Marie.

Niven wrestled in Eva Marie's place, defeating Naomi in about one minute with a Michinoku Driver.

After Niven won, Eva Marie announced herself as the winner of the match.

Niven was not referred to by any name on camera. Additionally, the Raw announce team acted as though they didn't know who she was at all.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful wrote on Twitter that Niven's proposed ring name is "Doudrop", though it's unknown if that's what will ultimately be used.

In her career, Niven has twice held the ICW Women's title, the Artist of Stardom championship, and the SWA World title. She previously competed in the 2019 Mae Young Classic, defeating Santana Garrett and Serena Deeb before losing to Toni Storm.

Niven debuted for NXT UK in the spring of 2019. On several occasions, she unsuccessfully challenged Women's champion Kay Lee Ray.

Niven's last prior match came on March 11 of this year, teaming with Jack Starz to defeat Joseph Connors and Jinny.
