Possible Plans For 2025 WWE Draft Revealed

WWE traditionally hold a WWE Draft once a year to reshuffle the rosters on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown and to call up wrestlers from NXT.

The draft often takes place following WrestleMania and the next draft may not be too far away. Bryan Alvarez has reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE's plans are not set in stone but it is very likely that the next draft will be held at the end of May during WWE's four-date stint in Tampa, Florida. WWE are scheduled to hold Saturday Night's Main Event, NXT Battleground, Raw, and NXT TV at Tampa's Yuengling Center from May 24 to May 27.

Female talents are set to be called up to the main roster as part of the next WWE Draft, with Alvarez further reporting this is why so many women were released following WrestleMania 41. The likes of Dakota Kai, Shayna Baszler, Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, Cora Jade, Dani Palmer, and Gigi Dolin have all been released. Shotzi was also informed her contract was not being renewed.
