Potential Plans For Kevin Owens At WrestleMania

Many fans have assumed that the plan for Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 41 was another meeting with long-time friend and enemy Sami Zayn. This comes after Owens betrayed Zayn once again on Monday Night RAW two weeks ago, hitting his old friend with a Package Piledriver and writing him off television. 

However, events on Friday Night SmackDown and a potential report have thrown these expectations out of the window. On SmackDown, Kevin Owens issued a promo telling Zayn to “come and find him” at Elimination Chamber, which takes place in their home country of Canada. It isn’t clear if this means they will be competing in a match at Elimination Chamber, but a social media post from insider WRKD Wrestling has hinted that Owens vs. Zayn won’t be at WrestleMania.

The X account has made several accurate reports in the past, and last night posted an image of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, captioned “Mania”. Owens and Orton have unfinished business after Owens hit a Pildedriver on Orton last year, writing the multi-time world champion off television. There has been no word on when to expect Orton’s return to the ring, but it would now come before WrestleMania 41.
