Potential Return Date For Chad Gable On WWE Raw Revealed

Chad Gable could soon be back on WWE programming.

According to PWInsider, there have been pitches within WWE for Chad Gable to return on the January 26 episode of Monday Night Raw from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. There were initially rumblings that Gable would make his return on the first Raw of 2026 in Brooklyn, New York but Gable ultimately wasn't at the event.

The multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion has been off TV since June 23, being written out of the company's programming when Penta snapped his arm on Raw. Gable underwent shoulder surgery soon after and he was expected to be on the shelf for six months.

Gable was all over WWE TV prior to his absence due to portraying himself and El Grande Americano, something which he effectively confirmed while attending a Minnesota Twins game in July of 2025.

The expectation is Gable will simply be himself when he reappears on WWE programming, with Ludwig Kaiser expected to continue under the mask as El Grande Americano. The gimmick has only continued to grow in popularity with Kaiser under the mask, and he has been joined by more luchadors in Rayo Americano (Pete Dunne) and Bravo Americano (Tyler Bate).
