PUB RULES Match Added To WWE NXT
NXT is bringing back the Pub Rules gimmick
A unique match type is coming to NXT’s most stacked episode of the year on Tuesday night, as Pub Rules will be making its return to the developmental brand. Last year, Gallus took on the team of Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen in a losing effort in Pub Rules, and they will be looking to bounce back this year.
After attacking both Butch during the Heritage Cup and targeting Tyler Bate as well, Gallus has made some enemies in recent weeks. Butch has brought his Brawling Brutes buddy Ridge Holland back to NXT to team with him and Tyler Bate in what will be a six-man tag team match. In a social media exclusive, they challenged Gallus to a Pub Rules bout, which has now been made official.
The card for this week’s NXT is now looking like this;
- Bron Breakker (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Carmelo Hayes
- Butch, Ridge Holland, and Tyler Bate vs. Gallus - Pub Rules
- Roxanne Perez vs. Asuka
- Cody Rhodes will make a huge announcement
