Pure Title Match Set For ROH Supercard Of Honor

An All Elite Wrestling talent will challenge for the ROH Pure Championship at Supercard Of Honor.

Ring Of Honor have announced Wheeler Yuta will face champion Josh Woods for the gold at ROH's return show on Friday, April 1. 

Woods has been Pure Champion since defeating Jonathan Gresham for the gold at Death Before Dishonor 2021. Since then, Woods has put the championship on the line inside and outside of Ring Of Honor, going 7-0 in title defences. 

Prior to signing with All Elite Wrestling, Wheeler Yuta competed several times for ROH, debuting in the Pure Title tournament in 2020. He ultimately lost to Jonathan Gresham in the first round but he has since competed in several more Pure Rules matches.

Yuta's last appearance inside an ROH ring was in May of 2021 when he lost to World Famous CB. 

Supercard Of Honor will take place at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas on Friday. Check out the lineup below:
