There is a push within WWE for SmackDown star B-Fab to receive more opportunities on TV.
On this past Friday's episode of SmackDown, B-Fab wrestled her first televised match since competing in a battle royal on the February 19 edition of Raw.
She took on Bayley and Candice LeRae in the first round of the WWE Women's United States Championship tournament. Bayley won and advanced to the next round.
According to Fightful Select, there were a number of staff and talent watching the bout from the backstage Gorilla position, as B-Fab has gained a reputation as someone who is working hard to improve. A frequent visitor to the New Hart Dungeon training school run by Natalya and Tyson Kidd, it is said that the 33-year-old is anxious to wrestle more.
A WWE producer was quoted as saying:
"Her initiative goes a long way. She's been called up, released, brought back, put with a different group. She's going above and beyond to make herself as available, useful and versatile as she can and always has a good attitude".
It was further stated that her performances in tag matches during the company's early October tour of the UK and Ireland demonstrated how much better she has gotten in the ring.
AEW star Swerve Strickland has previously spoken about how he lost interest in his WWE run after B-Fab was released in 2021.
