It's mad to think this weekend will be the 19-year anniversary of John Cena's WWE main roster debut.
On the June 27 episode of SmackDown, Cena answered a Kurt Angle open challenge, declared himself full of 'RUTHLESS AGRESSION', slapped the Olympic Gold Medallist in the face and proceeded to have his first match on the show against the future WWE Hall Of Famer.
And we never saw him again.
Okay, maybe we did. Maybe Cena became the backbone of WWE programming for the following 15 years. My memory is fuzzy.
It's fair to say, whatever your opinion of Cena, he's been one of WWE's most consistent performers this century, with a host of pay-per-view outings to his name.
