WWE and 2K have worked together on the pro wrestling company's video games since 2013 with WWE 2K14. That game was critically acclaimed upon release with its 30 years of WrestleMania mode.
The series struggled with the move to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and the release of WWE 2K15 but 2K Games put out better entries until the disastrous WWE 2K20. A two year break later and the series has arguably never been better with WWE 2K22, WWE 2K23, and WWE 2K24 releasing on Friday.
