R-Truth Provides Injury Update

R-Truth has been on the injury list since late 2022, with the WWE veteran picking up a torn quad during a singles match against Grayson Waller on the November 1 edition of WWE NXT.

Truth recently took to YouTube to give an update on his recovery, saying the following:

"Still healing up. Still healing up from my quad injury. I'm going back to WWE. I just have to heal up. I had to have two surgeries, a lot of people don't know that. I caught an infection, so I had to have another surgery. That set me back, but y'all know me, I'm coming back probably sooner than y'all think," Truth said.

Truth also revealed that he will be going back to NXT when he gets cleared for an in-ring return.

A former WWE Tag Team Champion, US Champion, and multi-time 24/7 Champion, Truth has been part of the WWE since 2008, having earlier had a short run in the company between 1999 and 2002. In between WWE runs, Truth was part of NWA TNA, enjoying two reigns as NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion.
