Randy Orton: I Wasn't Initially A Fan Of Riddle, But Now I Find Him Endearing
Orton wasn't originally a fan of his tag-team partner
Randy Orton has admitted he wasn't initially a fan of Riddle or his attitude, but has found he has more in common with his WWE tag-team partner than he originally thought.
Orton and Riddle have been linked since April 2021 on Monday Night Raw and won the Raw Tag Team Championships from AJ Styles and Omos at SummerSlam 2021 last month.
The Viper has spoken about how he has grown to enjoy Riddle's company since working with the former United States Champion and has a lot of respect for his efforts.
Speaking during a YouTube documentary posted to WWE's Channel, Orton said on Riddle: "“Once I was around him for a little while, I got to like the guy. We have a lot more in common than I thought we would.
"I definitely respect him and his attributes, but the attitude initially I wasn’t a big fan of. Now it’s almost endearing.
“He’s a quick learner, so I think that’s probably why I went from not really caring for the guy all that much to thinking, ‘You know what, maybe we have something here. We could have something here. Let’s give it a shot.’
"So of course we gave it a shot and now it’s been a lot of fun, to be frank, a lot of fun."
