Randy Orton Saves Young Fan From Being Squashed At WWE UK Live Event

Orton stepped in

A video has emerged of Randy Orton stepping in to stop a young fan from being squashed against the ring barricade during a WWE live event in the United Kingdom.

WWE are in the midst of a eight-night tour of England, on which Orton and tag-team partner Riddle have defended their Raw Tag Team Championships during the Raw portion of the tour last week.

A video has been doing the rounds on social media of Orton at the WWE live event in Birmingham, England, on Friday 5 November, in which Orton noticed a young fan was being pressed up dangerously against the barricade why he tried to interact with the fans ringside.

As a wave of people tried to get closer to The Viper, pushing the young fan into the barricade more, Orton took control of the situation to make sure the young lad was okay, wrapping his arms around him and instructing others to step backwards and give him some space.

Orton could then be seen asking other fans not to press so hard, as he continued to chat with and fist bump the live crowd.

The clip - posted on YouTube by channel WrestlingFanForLife-98 - can be viewed below.

Orton and Riddle had been defending their Raw Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits and Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode during their involvement on the UK tour.
