Reason Chuck Taylor Missed AEW Dynamite Revealed

Chuck Taylor was absent from AEW Dynamite on March 15

Orange Cassidy defended the AEW International Championship against Jeff Jarrett on the March 15 edition of AEW Dynamite.

JJ tried to cheat to win down the stretch with the assistance of Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, and Sonjay Dutt but they ended up being sent to the back after Trent Beretta made his way to the ring for the save. Lethal then failed once again to assist Jarrett before Cassidy connected with an Orange Punch for the successful title defence.

While Trent made the save for Cassidy, Chuck Taylor was conspicuous by his absence. Taking to Twitter, Taylor revealed he was unable to appear on Dynamite because he recently underwent emergency dental surgery.

"Couldn't help Orange because I had emergency dental surgery on my dumb skull. I hope Greg got me a ticket for Shazam Fury Of The Gods," The Kentucky Gentleman tweeted.

Cassidy's AEW All-Atlantic Championship was "levelled up" to the AEW International Title in a tie-in with Shazam: Fury of the Gods last week.

When Taylor will be back on AEW TV was not revealed. He last wrestled alongside Best Friends tag team partner Trent Beretta at the March 8 taping of Dark: Elevation to defeat Starboy Charlie and Olumide.
