Reason For Lacey Evans' Recent WWE Absence

WWE star Lacey Evans has not been seen on WWE television since late July. 

She was scheduled to wrestle Aliyah on the July 29 episode of SmackDown, but was pulled from the bout after it was announced she was not medically cleared to compete. 

Responding to a fan on Twitter, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted that he was told by WWE personnel that Evans is still 'medically sidelined' (without going into further detail).

Lacey's last match was on July 17, when she wrestled in a six-person tag match at a Sunday Stunner live event in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her last televised match was as an entrant in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match at the eponymous premium live event on July 2. 

Evans returned to WWE earlier this year with a new gimmick after taking over a year off due to her pregnancy.
