Reason WWE Superstars Reportedly Unhappy With Super ShowDown 2019 Revealed

What was wrong with the Battle Royal?

Friday's WWE Super ShowDown event had the wrestling world talking for all of the wrong reasons.

From the controversial circumstances surrounding WWE hosting shows in Saudi Arabia in the first place, to the Saudi government rejecting WWE's plans for a groundbreaking women's match, to the main event of the night between Goldberg and The Undertaker, not too much went right for Vince McMahon et al on the night.

It appears that a few WWE Superstars are unhappy with the 2019 Super ShowDown - that's if Dave Meltzer's claims are to be believed.

It appears that the 50-man Battle Royal - that actually had 51 Superstars in it - was the main point of concern due to how it was put together at the last minute. Superstars are said to be p*ssed off that nobody was really given a chance to shine.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, here's what Meltzer had to say on certain Superstars being unhappy with the show: "Most guys don’t wanna rock the boat. Some guys wanted to go but I heard most didn’t think they should go. It was an awfully long trip. One person told me if it were up to him he would never go back again, but it’s not up to him so it doesn’t matter. Others were like ‘it sucked.'"
