Red Velvet Vs. Leyla Hirsch Added To ROH Final Battle 2024 Card

Ring of Honor are gearing up for their return to the Hammerstein Ballroom for Final Battle 2024, and the event is set to feature an ROH Women’s World Television Title clash between Red Velvet and Leyla Hirsch.

Velvet is the second ever Women’s World Television Champ in ROH history, having defeated Billie Starkz for the title at Death Before Dishonor on July 26, but has so far managed just one successful title defence - a Street Fight win over Diamante on ROH TV (taped November 13).

Velvet has faced Hirsch in singles competition on four previous occasions, with the champ having three wins to ‘Legit’s one. The last time they squared off was in February 2024, with Velvet defeating Leyla in the quarter finals of the Women’s World Television Title Tournament. Velvet would go on to lose to Queen Aminata in the semi finals.

Hirsch will be looking to continue her ROH PPV winning streak, with Leyla 2-0 in previous ROH PPV appearances.
